Previously, Kate was a part of the Investment team at 500 Startups, where she sourced pre-seed/seed-stage companies and provided them with mentorship support throughout the Accelerator Program. Before joining the Investment team, Kate managed 500’s flagship Seed Accelerator program in San Francisco, where she built the program’s content, managed recruitment, onboarding, logistics, and operations processes. ​ Kate is originally from Ukraine, where she helped launch one of the country’s first Accelerators and primarily worked on helping startups with fundraising and organizing numerous internal and international events, including a 1-month Silicon Valley exchange program. Before joining 500 Startups, Kate worked at a Bay Area-based online education startup as the co-founder.
